Bluebottles operate 24/7 with the Royal Australian Navy supporting Maritime Border Command. Bluebottles are also in service with the Royal New Zealand Navy and operate in the US. Powered by solar, wind and wave energy, and available in a diesel hybrid variant, Bluebottles can remain on station for months while carrying acoustic, radar, visual and other payloads – providing robust surveillance across vast maritime domains.

The Bluebottle is a groundbreaking Australian-designed USV, enabling long-endurance operations while maintaining an acoustically quiet environment for superior acoustic surveillance, while also delivering additional payloads. Bluebottle USVs work in a teamed environment with other assets, creating an interoperable capability.

The Bluebottle Hybrid vessel, featuring a diesel generator with a 400-litre fuel capacity, extends operations into challenging environments with little or no sunlight and provides additional power for additional payload capacity.
