During the build-up to our planned annual conference in Hamburg in February the AM Digital Series will help us to refine the key talking points of interest to ensure the most focussed conference to date. They will also serve a purpose in their own right, a standalone series of discussions aimed at addressing the key challenges in the industry at the moment.
COVID-19 has had a dramatic impact on the Aerospace industry but Additive Manufacturing is a key future technology that our research shows many in the aerospace industry recognise they need to be investing in. At the same time new ventures in the area of Urban Air Mobility show opportunity for growth markets. Equally, other adopters of AM technologies for advanced, precision and critical applications are looking to the early adopters of the technology in aerospace and space to understand lessons learned.
Whether it be on the scaling up of production for high volume part production or advances in producing high criticality parts, our discussions aim to identify the roadblocks to industrialising AM technology.
