George Drysdale

Director of Operations Alford Technologies

George Drysdale enlisted as a Junior Leader in the Royal Engineers in February 1985 and commissioned in September 2006. A qualified bomb disposal officer and advanced search advisor, during a 38-year military career he deployed on a wide range of operational tours and assignments in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Balkans, Africa and across the Middle East. Leaving the Army in March 2023, as a Lieutenant Colonel leading the capability development and planning for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Search, in the Army Headquarters Futures Directorate, George joined Alford Technologies Limited as Director of Operations. Alford Technologies are an award-winning supplier of innovative explosive engineering solutions, training and research and development for military, government and commercial sectors.
