Tom Tyson
Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives SNC
Tom Tyson is the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives for the ISR, Aviation and Security (IAS) Business Area of SNC, where he drives innovative market opportunities and strategic programs. Previously, he served as President of Tyson Advisory Group and Vice President at Textron Airborne Solutions. Tom retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel after a distinguished 26-year career as a pilot and leader, including command of the 3d Fighter Training Squadron. He holds two Master’s degrees and is an FAA Commercial Pilot with over 5,200 flight hours in fighter, bomber, trainer, transport, helicopter, tiltrotor, and general aviation aircraft.
