Lieutenant Colonel Ralf Müllhaupt

LtCol Ralf Müllhaupt currently serves as the Chief of Air Mobility in Aviation Brigade 31 of the Swiss Air Force. In this capacity, he is responsible for developing and implementing procedures and guidelines, as well as providing technical and tactical training in the domain of air mobility. Prior to this assignment, he worked at the UN Headquarters in New York within the Air Transport Service, focusing on the development of a performance management framework for military aviation in peacekeeping missions and supporting the UN UAS and Airborne ISR joint cell. He has also commanded an Air Transport Wing and served as Head of Military-Police Cooperation for Airborne Tactics and Training within the Swiss Air Force.

He holds a military pilot license for rotary and fixed wing aircraft, and has logged over 4,000 flight hours in helicopters and light transport aircrafts. In addition to his military service, he completed post-graduate studies in International Peace & Security at King's College, London.
