Colonel Colonel Cesar Oscar Acebes Puertas
Commander Tactical Leadership ProgrammeCol Acebes is the current TLP Commandant. With more than 30 years of service as an officer of the Spanish Air & Space Force, his professional experience equally shares operational assignments as a fighter pilot (mainly flying the F-18 Hornet, and also the TORNADO ECR as an exchange pilot in the German Luftwaffe) with the responsibilities of management and leadership in different Staff positions, such as the assistance Defence Counsellor of the Spanish Ambassador to NATO in Brussels and the Head of the Programs Section in the Plans and Policy Directorate of the Air Staff.
He has participated in combat air operations in Kosovo (1999), multiple missions and international exercises, accumulating about 2.000 flight hours in fighter jets.
