Brian Braid
Operations Director Ascent Flying Training
Brian Braid served for 25 years with the Royal Air Force as a pilot flying operationally with the Harrier and in training roles with the Hawk. He completed several ground based staff tours also with operational and training focus and is a graduate of both the Central Flying School and of the Weapons Instructor course. Brian commanded at all levels up to and including Station Commander and also commanded Number 4 Flying Training School at RAF Valley. Upon leaving the RAF, Brian moved to Ascent Flight Training where he has worked with partners to establish the UKMFTS fixed wing operation at RAF College Cranwell and is currently responsible for Ascent activities at all UKMFTS operational sites
