Search and Rescue Mission Coordinator Planning and Analysis Specialist Maritime Search and Rescue Service, Poland

With a background as an experienced maritime professional, Kamil Woźniakiewicz is committed to the position of SAR Mission Coordinator in the structures of the Polish Maritime Search and Rescue Service. Ensuring an effective response to any life-threatening crisis within the Polish SAR Region constitutes his top priority. Kamil’s former duties during more than 10 years of experience in the maritime industry included service in the Merchant Navy as an Officer of the Watch, in addition to his work in SAR.

Worldwide passages on a variety of vessels have resulted in a powerful impact on his current position in the Rescue Coordination Center. Broad understanding of marine coordination complexity and personal dedication have led him to being entrusted with the responsibilities of a planning and analysis specialist, aiming for constant improvement of SAR system effectiveness in Poland’s maritime areas.

In addition to his vital role in the operational department, Kamil’s competency was further acknowledged by representing Polish MSAR Service in New Caledonia and Singapore within the scope of the Global Ports Safety Project. Regardless of whether he is on duty in the MRCC, conducting SAR exercises, or attending international projects, Kamil Woźniakiewicz is entirely dedicated to his role, striving for the highest standards of SAR performance to protect human lives at sea.
