British Attack Submarine Finally Takes to the Seas

The British Royal Navy has begun sea trials of its first new attack submarine in almost 20 years beginning with a successful journey between Cumbria and its new home of Faslane Naval Base in Scotland. HMS Astute took to the waters in mid-November, marking the start of its thorough 18 month operational test. The BAE Systems vessel was launched
