BAE and Babcock secure £3.2 billion naval base contracts

BAE Systems and Babcock have won contracts worth £3.2 billion for the management of three Royal Navy bases in the UK. The Maritime Support Delivery Framework (MSDF) contract will see BAE Systems manage the Portsmouth naval base and Babcock will receive £2.6 billion for managing the Clyde base as well as the maintenance and repair of warships and nuclear submarines.
