Mr. Goetz currently serves as Chief of the Technical Management Division for Project Manager Expeditionary Energy & Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2) within the Army’s Program Executive Office for Combat Support & Combat Service Support (CS&CSS). Mr. Goetz began his career in Defense Acquisition as an engineer with Naval Sea Systems Command working all aspects of submarine acoustics. He then transitioned to the Department of the Army where he focused on tactical electrical power, environmental control systems, and efforts to standardize batteries across the Army. Following studies at the National Defense University, Mr. Goetz served as the Power Division Chief within the Command Power and Integration Directorate of Communications - Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC) where he oversaw the execution of power and energy research and development ranging from soldier-borne power systems up to advanced tactical power systems. In his current role he supports acquisition efforts to develop, procure, and field tactical power and sustainment systems for warfighters. Mr. Goetz holds a master's degree in National Resource Strategy from National Defense University and a master's in Engineering Administration from Virginia Tech. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
