Steen Bisgaard is the Founding Director of GaardTech, which operates manufacturing facilities across Australia, the United Kingdom, and the USA. A former Australian Army officer who served in the Armoured Corps with multiple operational deployments, Steen has transitioned from military service to become a defence systems inventor and industry disruptor. He champions first principles thinking as the cornerstone of both combat effectiveness and engineering innovation. Steen doesn't hesitate to remind senior leadership of a fundamental truth: while strategy is conceived in the Head Quarters, wars are ultimately won at the tactical level by the soldiers executing the mission on the ground with the tools they have today.
