Roman Tkachenko is CBDO at TENCORE, a Ukrainian defense-tech company deploying modular unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). He champions replacing legacy, manpower-intensive methods with unmanned, AI-enabled concepts that raise operational effectiveness and protect personnel—especially as UAVs and electronic warfare redefine the battlefield. His perspective is shaped by large-scale wartime deployments—thousands of unmanned systems operating daily—already reshaping tactics and informing doctrine. Roman leads programs with MODs and primes to field TerMIT platforms for contested logistics, casualty extraction, route clearance, counter-UAS support, and ISR/relay tasks in GPS-/EW-denied environments. He focuses on export, localization, training, and sustainment, integrating autonomy into military workflows. Previously at Tetra Pak, GEA, and Engie, he brings manufacturing discipline to scalable, field-ready deployments.
