Karl Josef “Charly” Fürnrohr is the Chief Sales Officer for Grob Aircraft since 2012. Charly is a decorated German Air Force officer retiring in 2012 as a Colonel. Among various roles, Charly served as a fighter pilot, Squadron Commander, Base Commander and director of the International Staff Course at the General Staff Academy in Hamburg before serving a stint as the Military Attache to Brazil. Charly also served as the NATO Base Commander for the IFOR/KFOR operation in Vicenza, Italy and the NATO Group Commander for ISAF operations in Kabul, Afghanistan.
