Lieutenant General Rocky Meade holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Master of Arts degree from The University of the West Indies, a Masters of Military Arts and Science from the United States Army Command and General Staff College, a PhD from the University of Amsterdam and is an alumnus of the George C Marshall European Centre for Security Studies, Germany. He supervises graduate doctoral students and delivers invited lectures and consultations on strategic studies, national security, intelligence and linguistics internationally. General Meade has several publications including ‘The Acquisition of Jamaica Phonology’ and ‘The Relevance and Optimal Structure of the Military in Jamaica in the Current & Emerging Geo-Security Environmental’ and has received national honours of Jamaica – Commander of the Order of Distinction, Medal of Honour for Meritorious Service and Medal of Honour for General Service.
