The civil-military partnership during hurricanes Irma and Maria response: A Rescue Global case study

The international response to hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017 came from all sides, from militaries to international organisations. Rescue Global was one of the latter and worked with all sides to improve the response time.

Ahead of the co-located CABSEC and SAMSEC summits, Hannah Pathak, Deputy CEO of Rescue Global and speaker at the event shared how their work onsite helped the response to the disaster, from facilitating military-civil cooperation to helping assess the extent of the damage.
