Future Mortar Systems - 2024 Agenda

Future Mortar Systems - 2024 Agenda

Future Mortar Systems – the world’s only dedicated mortars systems conference for the close fires community – returns for its 12th annual iteration from 29 - 30 October 2024 at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, London.

Join us to hear:

  • Hear from nations with mortar system capability gaps to understand their requirement demands.
  • Gain insights into how technology can be used to advance the capabilities of future mortar systems
  • Hear how mortar crews and infantry forces are bolstering the manoeuvrability of mortar systems through armoured vehicles
  • Network with an augmented audience: this conference is co-located with our International Dismounted Soldier event.

Plus, more NATO and allied nations in attendance than previously before, including UK, US, Canada, Netherlands, Italy, Lithuania, Finland, Turkey, Switzerland, France, Slovenia and Norway, to do business with.

Mortars remain increasingly critical for ground combat, on the modern battlefield. The reliance on next-generation mobile mortar systems for quick and reliable indirect fire, by infantry forces shows no sign of losing pace. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we have seen advancements in technology and the digitisation of mortar systems, which have led to extended range and improved accuracy, ensuring greater operational efficiency.
