Gene Germanovich

Senior Defense Analyst RAND Corporation

Gene Germanovich is an international defense researcher at the RAND Corporation. His research areas of interest include European security, the NATO alliance, maritime and amphibious forces, and security cooperation. Germanovich has worked extensively with the U.S. Marine Corps and allied amphibious forces to develop strategy, policy, and operational concepts that advance multinational cooperation. Prior to joining RAND, he spent eleven years at a national security consulting firm where he conducted policy analysis, strategic planning, and wargaming for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Marine Corps, and other U.S. government clients. He earned a B.S. in international affairs from Georgia Tech and an M.A. in security studies from Georgetown University.
