Lieutenant General (Ret'd) Clint Hinote

S. Clinton Hinote is a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant general and fighter pilot. In his last assignment, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategy, Integration, and Requirements. In this role, he led the 400-person organization known as “Air Force Futures,” which was responsible for designing the future Air Force for the United States. General Hinote is a defense advisor to the Strategic Competitive Studies Project, a field expert at Dcode, and a principal at Pallas Advisors. He is also a Professor of the Practice at the RAND School of Public Policy, where he teaches courses on leadership and policy implementation. He advises, coaches, and encourages change-oriented leaders across the government, business, finance, and nonprofit sectors. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School and a PhD. in military strategy from Air University.
