Director of Defence Infrastructure Amey

Tom Silvey is the Business Director for Defence Infrastructure at Amey and a member of the Amey Defence SLT, leading the Regional Accommodation Maintenance Services contracts for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO). Tom oversees Amey's provision of facilities management to around 18,000 military housing across the Central and North regions, including response, planned, void maintenance, project delivery, and asset management. Tom is also responsible for leading the delivery of soft services provision at MOD Whitehall in partnership with Skanksa (Hard FM provider) and MODUS (PFI SPV). As a highly experienced Operational Director, Tom excels in building and motivating teams to deliver complex projects. With a diverse background in the service and construction industries, Tom has a proven track record of managing operations safely, profitably, and to the highest standards across both commercial and public sectors, as well as international environments.
