Semming Rusten

Head of Operational Support Norwegian Defence Estates Agency

With more than 30 years of experience in military engineering, leadership, and operational management, Semming Rusten has established a distinguished career within the Norwegian Armed Forces and the defense sector. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Military Engineering from the Norwegian Military Academy, an Executive Master's degree in Project Management from the Norwegian Business School, a Master of Military Art and Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and a Master of Operational Studies from the U.S. Marine Corps School of Advanced Warfighting. Throughout his military career, he served as a platoon commander, company commander, and battalion commander. He currently serves as Head of Operational Support at the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency, where he oversees critical support functions for defense infrastructure and operations.
