Mr Ihor Bezkaravainyi

Deputy Minister Ministry of Economy of Ukraine

Ihor Bezkaravainyi was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine in 2023, where he coordinates the state policy on mine action and humanitarian demining. A finance and credit graduate, he served in the Ukrainian Armed Forces from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, he was injured in the Donetsk region due to an anti-tank mine explosion. He earned a bronze medal at the 2020 Invictus Games in The Hague. Mr Bezkaravainyi has held several important roles within the Government of Ukraine, notably within the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, contributing to various policy areas and strategic initiatives. From 2020 until 2023, he served as the Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs and as a technical advisor for the Veterans Reintegration Program.
