Michael Nevard

Michael joined The HALO Trust in 2007 and has worked in a variety of roles around the world. He leads HALO’s global team who develop and test equipment and methodologies for the clearance of landmines and other explosive ordnance. He has been closely involved with projects in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America with a particular focus on detection technology including the widescale adoption of ground penetrating radar. He and his team also conduct research into drones and remote sensing, remote control machinery, mechanical solutions, ordnance disposal tools and more. The HALO Trust works with a variety of partners to develop ways of clearing explosive hazards, safely, efficiently, and effectively.
