Major General Angelo Gervasio

Technical Commander, Logistics Command Italian Army

Major General Angelo Gervasio has a degree in Electronic Engineering and joined the Italian Army Technical Corps in 1983. After a long period of service in the Italian Army, Italian Army Staff and a tour at the SFOR HQ in SARAJEVO (2001), Major General Gervasio moved to the NATO Allied Command for Transformation in NORFOLK, USA (2006). Promoted to Colonel in 2008, he served in the Italian Land Equipment Procurement Agency as Sixth Division Chief. In 2012 he worked at the Italian Army “Forza NEC” Program Directorate and in 2014 was promoted to Brigadier General and moved again to the Italian Land Equipment Procurement Agency as Second Department Chief, responsible for Telecommunications, electronics, missiles and optoelectronics land equipment procurement. Two years later, he commanded the Army Telecommunications, Electronics and Optoelectronics Maintenance Institute in ROMA, under the umbrella of the Italian Army Logistics Command. He was promoted to Major General in 2019 and since February 2020 has been the Technical Commander of the Italian Army Logistics Command coordinating, among other duties, the technical experimentation of the Army assets.
