Lieutenant Commander Gary Brogan

FCO Regional Maritime Security Officer and UK HADR Liaison Officer Royal Naval Reserve

LT CDR Gary Brogan is the United Kingdom (UK) International Liaison Officer to the

Information Fusion Centre, and is part of the Royal Navy’s Maritime Trade Operations

specialisation. In 2011, he was deployed to OP UNIFIED PROTECTOR and has worked at the

NATO Shipping Centre and in UKMTO Dubai. 

He has attended and planned various multinational exercises. He also represented the UK

many times in the PACIO exercise Bell Buoy. He was the Guard Commander at the high

profile Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2014, responsible for the training, development

and divisional duties for the Royal Navy Guard of Honour. He also held several staff

appointments.

As a civilian, he has assumed several senior management appointments in leading corporate

and personal forensic investigations including procurement fraud, counterfeiting

operations, shareholder disputes, failing investments and financial misconduct.
