The objective of this panel is to debate the future of close air support and the utility of current Western capabilities in the eventuality of future conflicts with near-peer adversaries, notably China and Russia as well as lower-end missions against asymmetric threats such as Daesh.
Discussion points include:
- How the CAS and Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) communities should adapt
- Leveraging emerging capabilities to meet future operational requirements 2035+
- How current capabilities would perform within Anti-Access/Area Denial (A2/AD) environments
