Rear Admiral Enrique Arnaez Braschi

Director of Naval Projects Peruvian Navy

Rear Admiral Enrique Luis Arnáez Braschi is with the Surface Warfare community, from the weapon systems line. He has completed various naval studies at the Peruvian Naval War College; also, Prepositioning of Maritime Forces, Leadership and Rapid Planning Process Courses at the U.S. Navy Expeditionary Forces Training Center, Atlantic; the Defense Planning Course at the Center for Strategic Hemispheric Defense Studies "Perry Center" in the U.S. He holds a Master's degree in Control and Automation Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a Master's degree in Maritime Policy from the Peruvian Naval War College and has participated in the U.S. Navy’s Flag Level Combined Force Maritime Component Commander (CFMCC) course in Miami.

During his service afloat, he was the crew of BAP Villavicencio and BAP Almirante Grau, in weapon systems. He was Executive Officer of BAP Santillana, Commanding Officer of BAP Larrea and BAP Quiñones. He was a member of the Marine Infantry Light Battalion No. 7 on the Ucayali front and leader of the Cyber Defense Command Project.

He has served as Liaison Officer to the U.S. Fleet Forces Command, and as Advisor to the Chairman of the Council of Delegates of the Inter-American Defense Board in Washington, DC.

In 2018 he assumes the position of Commander, Naval Cyber Defense Command.

In 2019, the government promote him to Rear Admiral.

On January, 1st 2021 is appointed as Director, Naval Projects Direction.
