Major General Roman Urbanč

Force Commander Slovenian Armed Forces

Major General Roman Urbanč was born in 1967. He joined the Slovenian Armed Forces in 1994. He graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology and the Faculty of Economics. He obtained a Master's degree in Defence Studies from the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana.

Education:  1986 – 1987 Officer Training, NBC Defence School, Kruševac, Serbia (YUG).  1989 Command Staff Course.  1987 – 1991 Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, Chemical Engineering – Paper Engineering.  1999 – 2000 Senior Staff Course (Command and Staff School).  2000 – 2003 Faculty of Economics, Economics – Marketing.  2008 – 2009 General Staff Course (Command and Staff School).  2014 International Capstone Course (IASD, Rome, Italy).  2016 Master's Degree in Defence Studies (Faculty of Social Sciences).
