11:45 PANEL DISCUSSION: DEFINING AIR INTEGRATION CONCEPTS IN WARFIGHTING

Understanding and clearly defining the goals of Air Integration will lead to a decisive advantage when it comes to Joint warfighting. Although it has been essential in recent counter-insurgency operations, it will be operations against a peer opponent where the benefits of effective Air Integration will be felt most keenly. Machine speed warfare and sophisticated, digital, Joint Force networks will be the hallmarks of effective Air Integration and will be the subject of the first panel discussion.

Panellists will discuss:
·         What does effective Air Integration look like and what are the goals that we should be working towards?
·         What will be the key capabilities that we can invest in that will prove decisive at enhancing Air Integration?
·         Where are capability gaps most likely to emerge when it comes to operations against a peer or near-peer adversary and what can we do to pre-empt their emergence?
