Maritime Surveillance is becoming increasingly important as countries strive to protect their maritime interests. Although surface ship, submarine and satellite surveillance are all important means of monitoring the world’s oceans, by far the most important sector of this growth market is airborne surveillance, either by maritime patrol aircraft (MPA), or increasingly by unmanned air vehicles (UAVs). This report addresses solely the MPA/UAV market.
