This letter, sent from the office of Ian King, CEO of BAE Systems UK, has been dubbed the correspondence that firm used to 'hold a gun' to Prime Minister Cameron over pending defence cuts. Specifically, the letter addresses the axing of Royal Navy carrier Prince of Wales, warning the PM that Britain would never again build a warship if this was pursued in the SDSR. Results of the SDSR were released on 20 October 2010.
