Cyber insecurities surface again following discovery of Gauss virus, Lebanese banking system targeted

A new state-sponsored cyber threat has been uncovered by cyber security firm Kaspersky Lab that has been targeting online bank accounts in the Middle East for the last year. The cyber weapon, called Gauss, has been traced back to September 2011 and was initially discovered by the Russian cyber firm in June 2012.
