Trevor Finklaire

Trevor Finklaire is a former British Army infantry officer and a graduate of the Command and Staff College Camberley and the Royal Military College of Science, Shrivenham.  He completed numerous tours of duty in Northern Ireland and deployed to Northern Iraq on Operation Provide Comfort.  He is passionate about equipping soldiers with the best possible kit.

He was awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List and an Australian Defence Force Commendation for contribution to development of the Australian Technical Staff Centre.  He migrated to Australia in 2000 and has since worked with three private defence industry companies in the soldier combat systems field. 

Trevor is currently the Business Development Director for Kord Defence Pty Ltd, based in Canberra, Australia.

The mission of the infantry is to defeat the enemy through close combat. The Infantry closes with the enemy by means of fire and manoeuvre in order to destroy or capture him or to repel his assault by fire, close combat, and counterattack (US FM7-8, Infantry Rifle Platoon and Squad)....Full Article »
