Defence Industry Bulletin is a specialist publication designed for professionals in the commercial security and defence sector. DSEI witnessed a profusion of vehicle unveilings between 12- 15 September in London, including the new Beowulf from BAE Systems, which is likely to be pitched to the UK MoD as its new generation amphibious articulated all-terrain vehicle. Nexter Systems, Supacat, ST Kinetics, and even Jaguar Land Rover also revealed new or updated vehicles at the show. Elsewhere, we have an exclusive interview with Oshkosh following the $6.7bn JLTV contract win and details as BAE Systems debuts its new ‘see-through’ vehicle armour.

France has finally found a buyer for its Mistral-class amphibious assault ships after pulling the plug on its agreement with Russia last year – we’ve got the latest on the deal with Egypt. Defence Industry Bulletin looks at new Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) technology from Atlas Elektronik as the Royal Navy looks to restore its minesweeping capabilities and we provide news from NATO’s anti-submarine warfare exercise in the Mediterranean.
