China and the US: The New Cold War

The United States' engagement with the People’s Republic of China (PRC or China) since World War Two has been one of ever growing concern from once being an ally against Japan to one of potential hostility. As China’s population and resource requirements increase, the need for imports increases. This puts China at odds with finite global resources and will put China on a collision course with the United States.
