'Buzzer On': Manoeuvre Warfare Brings Airborne Jammers to the Fight

About this Podcast...

In our interview with LtCol Jason Schuette, USMC, we got a fascinating insider's look into next generation electronic warfare capabilites that are being fielded out of the Pentagon in Washington, DC. LtCol 'Dizzy' Schuette is an EA-6B Prowler pilot who has been assigned with the responsibility of managing EW development for the US Navy and the US Marine Corps. We walked away with a completely new understanding of where manoeuvre warfare is taking EW - from focusing on commanders in the field to mounting EW weapons on some of the current ariborne inventory. Non traditional applications are the name of the game here and this thinking outside the box is, perhaps, the most suitable answer to asymmetric threats. Semper Fi.
