U.K. Chinook and Puma Modernisation Contracts Signed

The U.K. MoD has signed deals worth a total of over £700 Million ($1.1 Billion) for the modernisation of the RAF Chinook and Puma support helicopter fleets. 46 Chinook HC2/2A/3s will be fitted with new engines and a glass cockpit, which will enable the aircraft to remain in service until 2040.
