Sikorsky primed for $7 billion Combat Rescue Helicopter contract as Boeing, Northrop and EADS pull out

The U.S. Air Force’s Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) programme looks set to be landed by Sikorsky after the other contenders for the contract, EADS North America, Boeing and Northrop Grumman, pulled out. The contract, which is worth nearly $7 billion for 112 helicopters, has such narrow boundaries for the bid that most companies withdrew
