India’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) has issued two requests for proposals (RFPs) valued at over US$1.3 billion to overseas companies for 22 attack and 15 heavy-lift helicopters, which are required urgently to augment the Indian Air Force’s (IAF’s) ageing rotary fleet.
