India’s aircraft carrier, the Vikrant-class IAC-1, due to be operational in 2018, may not be operational in 2018, according to sources familiar with the situation. At 262 meters long, the Vikrant can carry up to 30 aircraft and helicopters. However, with it only been around 30% complete, military sources say that it is behind schedule and running over budget.
