Sweden’s Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) is aiming to convince the Czech government to purchase 14 JAS 39 Gripen multirole fighter aircraft. The aircraft, which are in service with the Army of the Czech Republic (ACR), were originally leased by Prague under a 10-year CZK19.6 billion (US$776 million at the time) deal in 2004.
