Airborne Early Warning systems flood Asian market as demand soars

Last week Brazilian aerospace firm Embraer conducted the maiden flight of its EMB 145 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C/AWACS) aircraft. The tests, which took place at Embraer’s Säo Josê do Campos HQ, were completed successfully the company said. The test featured the first of three AEW&C jets ordered by the India government.
