Uruguay working on tender for new OPV requirements

Uruguay is looking at the option of leasing offshore patrol vessels (OPVs) under a tender that French company DCNS is exploring. "The [Uruguay] Finance Ministry has asked for a leasing," an executive from a French bank told Defense News. "Talks with ministry officials are due to be held in Uruguay next week.
