France Orders an Additional Three FREMM Frigates

France has ordered three more FREMM Frigates, taking the total order to 11. The three new ships include two anti-air warfare (AAW) variants and one anti-submarine warfare (ASW) ship. The first of class of these Aquitane class vessels is due for delivery in 2012, with all 11 ships to be delivered by 2022.
