Counter Terrorism: Historical and social patterns: Professor Caroline Kennedy-Pipe, head of the Centre for Security Studies at Hull University, is currently undertaking a large grant project on IEDs, aside to her key research areas in the effects of combat on women, the ethics of war, Cold War politics, terrorism and Russian foreign policy.
