IED: Exclusive video interview at Imperial College's blast research lab
Defence IQ was recently given a tour of Imperial College London’s IED blast research lab, known as the Royal British Legion Centre for Blast Injury Studies. In this video interview, Professor Anthony Bull, the Centre’s Director, introduces the unique ANUBIS (Anti-vehicle Underbelly Blast Injury Simulator), which is able to accurately simulate injuries that are seen on the battlefield. Other topics discussed by Prof. Bull include the focus of the College’s research and how it’s structured, how he expects the College's lab to evolve over time, investment goals and requirements, and potential commercial applications for the College’s work.
