North European countries increase defence budgets to counter Russian posturing

The regional threat posed by Russia is forcing neighbouring countries in Northern Europe to reassess their military capabilities and examine budgets. Last week Sweden announced it was increasing its annual defence budget by around 5.5 billion kronor ($835 million) following the "unsettling" actions of nearby Russia.
