Colonel Dale Fridley, USAF, is the Director of the US Air Force's UAS Task Force, based in the Pentagon in Washington, DC. Here, he speaks about economies of scale - in terms of reducing the number of pilots, aircraft, and materiel, in relation to targets prosecuted. He sees remotely piloted aircraft (RPAs) as an ideal combination of manpower, automation, and multi-tasking - thus leading to cost savings down the line.
