Important Note
Due to the huge popularity of the Information Operations Europe 2008 workshops on the 24th June 2008, these sessions have been moved from Le Meridien Piccadilly Hotel to larger facilities at the Café Royal, 68 Regent Street, London, W1B 5EL. The two venues are approximately 3 minutes walk from each other. The Main Conference on the 25th-26th June 2008 will still be held at Le Meridien Piccadilly Hotel.
IO Europe 2007 was a rewarding & beneficial experience. I highly recommend
Lt Col Michael Dietz, US Army
Well balanced panel, good mix from strategic to technical level. An affirmation of the developing thoughts in a transforming environment
Maj Klaus Roch, Austrian MoD
In 2008 several significant challenges face the Information Operations community. At the strategic level, it has become increasingly necessary for senior staff to coordinate information strategies across governments and across coalitions, requiring structural reorganisations and changes in mindset. At the tactical and operational levels, the techniques for delivering messages and penetrating different cultures remains troublesome and question marks still exist around the issue of Measurement of Effect of influence activities.
Now in its 7th year, Information Operations Europe 2008 is specifically designed to provide the Strategic Communications, Influence and Psychological Operations communities with an opportunity to share expertise, strategies and Lessons Learned from recent activities. Taking place at Le Meridien Piccadilly in London on the 25th and 26th June 2008, the guest speakers and audience will discuss the most important topics of today:
